Snowcones!
BLUE ones to be exact :)
On Monday, we had our annual neighborhood Popsicle Parade and Very Important Patriotic Ceremony. One of my favorite Highland Circle traditions! The Beans hosted a pre-parade breakfast, followed by the ceremony in Jeanie Lagrone's yard, the parade and then popsicles and pink lemonade at Doy Doy and Big Bill's house. Of course it all ended with the March of the Tired and Sweaty Whinypants to our house for naps.
Getting a cute picture of these two is getting more and more difficult these days...

Then there's the cheesy cheese face.
But they are pretty cute, if not entirely cooperative :)

Pre-Parade Breakfast
The rising kindergarteners always help Ms. Jeannie recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Did you hear that people?? Baby Sam Crabb is a RISING KINDERGARTENER!
Applauding the National Anthem with classmates Thomas and cousin Mason
I didn't get any pictures of the actual parade because "somebody" threw a fit and refused to sit in her awesomely decorated wagon, and so I had to carry that somebody during the entire parade instead of taking pictures. In 137 degree heat index. Good times.
Popsicles make everything better.
Mean old Daddy wouldn't let her take her dress off. "Somebody" needs a nap.
