Kindergarten Field Trips - The Apple Orchard

Sam has had a couple of field trips with his kindergarten class this fall. The first week of school, Ellie and I joined his class on a trip to Cherry Creek Apple Orchards in Pontotoc, Mississippi. We learned all about growing fruit, picked grapes, apples and peaches, had a picnic under the chestnut trees and saw some neat farm equipment. It was a nice day to get to know Sam's classmates and teachers better as well.
