Day 4, Morning: Hollywood Studios

Day Four started with breakfast in Hollywood Studios with the Disney Jr. gang. Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, Quincy and June visited us while we ate Mickey waffles and bacon. The food was good and Sam loved meeting some of his favorite 'morning TV' characters. Ellie wasn't all that interested in them. She did like the music and dancing that the little breakfasts hosts led, though.

Ellie liked June's pretty jewelry and ballet slippers but she still wasn't crazy about hugging her. Those characters were BIG.

Next we decided to go ahead and knock out Toy Story Mania which everyone says is so fun. We waited in line for 45 minutes and then the ride closed down! At least the waiting area for TSM was pretty entertaining... lots of stuff to look at, including a talking, singing Mr. Potato Head.

After Toy Story shut down, we decided to meet more characters...

And of course, Sam's all time favorite characters, Lightning McQueen and Mater

Then my husband showed his nerd side near the Star Wars attraction.

We'd spent several hours in the HOT sun waiting to meet characters all morning, so we decided to cool off at the air-conditioned Disney Jr. Live on Stage show. This was definitely the kids' favorite part of the day. The show kept their attention the entire time- it was really fun and engaging. Mickey's Clubhouse, the Little Einsteins, Handy Manny and Jake and the Neverland Pirates all made appearances in the show.

Afterwards we got to see Annie and Leo (again). Sam was very disappointed that he never got to meet the 4th Little Einstein, Quincy.

Shortly after these pictures were taken Ellie had a colossal meltdown heard all over Walt Disney World. I'll spare you the details but it included high-pitched screaming, flailing of body parts and one piece of chocolate cake being thrown across the table.
