This was our first year going to Rosemary Beach and we LOVED it. We had the best little house smack dab on the beach. The kids could walk down about five steps and play in the sand while we sat on the porch and watched them. The weather was perfect- not too hot and not a drop of rain. We spent the week riding bikes, cooking, swimming and of course, playing on the beach and in the ocean. Bo and Ellie loved the water and even Sam got in the ocean this year (on a day with almost no waves). He was SO PROUD of himself for being brave.

Sweet Nana arranged a Girls Day on the Beach with margaritas, chips n salsa and little gift bags. Papa and the daddies watched the kids for the afternoon- we had 3 whole hours to talk, giggle and relax without interruption! It was so nice. Although I should have eaten lunch before laying in the sun with a bottomless pitcher of margaritas... and that's all I'm gonna say about that. Oh, except that the next day I woke up looking like Hitch. Apparently margarita salt + chips + no SPF in my chapstick = HUGE PUFFY SWOLLEN LIPS.

Clay and I met the Oxfords and the Kahlstorfs for drinks at Bud & Alley's one night. Pretty sure this was the only time we showered and dressed in real clothes the whole week.
