Raspberries

This past weekend we buried my sweet Nanny. I know that God is delighted when any of His children come home, but I can't help but think He was especially glad to welcome Etta Mozelle through those gates.

When I think of Nanny I will always think of babydolls, hair-patting, baseball, Memory, crossword puzzles, mac n cheese, 'no iii-ceam Nanny', Morrison's, handmade quilts, baby slips, Nanny-dollars, 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING?', Striped Delight, the Braves, stifled giggles, short phone calls, golf carts, wheelbarrows, blackberry cobbler, Billy Goats Gruff and raspberries.

We love you, Nanny, we miss you and we look forward to being with you again someday.
