The Crabb Family: Thanksgiving in North Carolina

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in North Carolina. It was a great week of food, family and bouncy houses! I even got to spend a night with some of my college friends in Asheville. On Thanksgiving Day, both my mom and dad's families joined us in Hendersonville to celebrate. It was our first Thanksgiving without Nanny and we definitely missed her. More than half the dishes on the table were her recipes. I'm glad that her legacy lives on in our family in so many ways- the way we love our children, songs we sing, stories we tell, and even in our kitchens!

We also celebrated Bo's 3rd birthday the day after Thanksgiving. We went out to eat at a REAL RESTAURANT, ALL NINE OF US. And nobody fell out screaming or vomited or anything. I think only two drinks were spilled. It was kind of a miracle.
