Fourth of July

The Fourth of July Parade is one of my favorite things about living in our neighborhood! The tradition begins with a Very Serious Patriotic Ceremony in Jeannie Lagrone's front yard, emceed by the Parade Marshall, Ms. Jeannie herself. After the ceremony is complete, the parade marches one loop around the circle and then ends back at the Lagrones for popsicles and swimming. Sam is at an age where he really enjoys this kind of stuff- especially the fire truck, the Lightning McQueen car and the Partlow Drummers.
