Last Day of School

Sam has had a great year in the Two-Year-Old Classroom at FUMC. He has made great friends and learned lots from his wonderful and patient teachers, Ms. Lori and Ms. Wendy. Originally, I thought pre-school was more of a break for me than something Sam really needed, but I was wrong. He LOVES going to school, asking every morning if he is gonna see his 'fwiends'. He was so proud to show me the projects he'd made and sing me the songs he learned in Music. I loved watching him gain confidence and participate in the Thanksgiving and Spring Music Programs. He learned to nap on his own mat and gained some much needed social skills (no hitting, no pushing, no screaming). He can also name all his shapes and colors, and count to 12! Genius...

We celebrated the last day of school by taking all the kids to Fairpark for a picnic. They had a blast running through the fountain and playing on the playground.
