Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

We spend Christmas in Hendersonville, NC with my family and always attend the Candlelight Service at my parents' church. This year, my dad volunteered our entire family- wild toddler and 4-week-old newborn included- to light the candles at the beginning of the service. I was pretty apprehensive about this. For those of you that have ever heard Sam Crabb scream, you can understand my nervousness. Thankfully, he didn't squeal, throw a fit or light anything on fire. He did however, put on quite a show for the congregation...stomping on the risers, pointing at my dad and saying 'It's Papa! It's Papa!' and trying to get to the piano to 'bang-bang'. I take solace in the fact that half the congregation is over 80 and couldn't hear or see him, and the other half seemed to find him pretty amusing. Baby Bo was a perfect angel, of course.

Me looking quite pregnant.

Sam actually sat still for a family photo!

Climbing the risers.

We finally let him play on the piano after the service- he is obsessed with pianos!
